YetepThe Social is the biggest House and Techno music festival in the UK. The festival is known to bring a taste of Ibiza to the south east of England with a line-up of the world’s most discerning electronic music talent, such as Fout Tet, Dubfire, and Jamie Jones. This year, the Social Festival returns on September 9-10 to its new home, the Kent County Showground. The Social Festival 2016 is the first two day event in its history and not only that, they have also introduced a very exclusive boutique camp site for loyal customers.
On Friday the 9th, The Social will deliver something mind blowing. A blast from the past will see Sasha & John Digweed go B2B at the fourth edition of The Social Festival to headline the Meadow Arena, hosted by Mixmag. Sasha and Digweed are two names that will be forever celebrated in the dance music scene. Recently, the two artists reunited for a surprise B2B at Digweed’s Bedrock Easter celebration show at Ministry of Sound, and they reminded us why they are such pioneers in the progressive genre. After this events, House/Techno fans are extremely excited at the idea of them in the booth together, or possibly more B2B sets. This B2B set will be very exclusive as only 5000 tickets will be available to purchase for the Friday show. Check out a recently released track from Sasha.
The Social Festival will see the return of Techno heavyweight Carl Cox on its headline roster for the second day, Saturday the 10th. The festival will also be featuring up-and-coming House artists like Hot Since 82, and Bicep. Even more artists will be announced at the end of April so keep an eye on the Social Festival’s social media.
