YetepThe Weeknd ended last year strong with a chart topping studio album entitled “Starboy”. The album hosted some major features including Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, and Future who all contributed a unique perspective of sound to the music. Of the eighteen featured tracks, which all ranked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, three were released early as singles to give a taste of the Weeknd’s flavor. Among these three is the sexually driven RnB banger “Party Monster”.
The Weeknd – Party Monster
In this song, The Weeknd gives us a glimpse at his predisposition for engaging in faded adventures with enticing women. The new music video for the song looks like a party as it depicts a plethora of trippy visual effects, high octane car racing scenes, and model Zoe Aggeliki. The cross symbol, commonly used in Weeknd media, is seen throughout the video in different colorful forms that add to the psychedelia of the visuals. Directed by BRTHR, the video adds a stimulating multimedia experience to “Party Monster” and captures the atmosphere of the song perfectly.
