YetepPegboard Nerds had a wild 2016, raking in serious success after releasing single after single and collabing with other EDM a-listers like Snails and NGHTMRE. The duo also paired up with Seven Lions for The Journey Tour. Needless to say they’ve earned a well-deserved break, but they insist otherwise.
Their new Nerds By Nature EP is finally out and exceeds all expectations, not surprisingly. The pair has a special way of hooking a listener from the very first note to the last, with their recognizably versatile mix of sounds. The intro ‘Speed of Light’ whirls you into a world of synths and strong female vocals that leads you perfectly into the next track.
Pegboard Nerds leads us from future bass in ‘Talk About It’ to a techno-dance based anthem in ‘Melodymania,’ right into ‘Go Berzerk’ a high-energy dubstep inspired track. Each track in the EP shows a different side of the duo, and they tackle each one like pros.
With this EP Pegboard Nerds continue on their streak of releasing continuous bangers that would be a gift to see live. If you haven’t listened yet, you’re definitely missing out! Listen to the whole EP here:
