YetepDJ Dan has been making house and techno beats for over two decades. In that time he’s played stages and clubs around the globe making people everywhere dance. His years of dedication to the scene have not gone unrecognized. He’s been named ‘America’s Best DJ’ and ‘#1 House DJ’ by DJ Mag, ‘America’s Favorite DJ’, and of course ‘America’s Hardest Working DJ’ by Urb magazine. He’s built a strong reputation amongst his peers as well, including John Digweed, Sasha, and Carl Cox who says, “The thing I love about Dan is that he’s always had a funky spirit and he always pushes the elements of music.”
This week’s RB Deep in the Mix is a recent guest mix on DJ Dn’s Stereo Damage podcast from Mike Balance:
The hour and a half mix features some of the best in tech-house funk. He opens with “Who Is Hanna?” by Jean Bacarreza. “Sheeple vs. Moonraker” by Green Velvet and Prok & Fitch finds it’s way into this set about half way through. He was sure to include some Mike Balance in this guest mix, as well. It’s a well-rounded mix of tunes that will keep you groovin’ all day!
Check out the mix and get ready for DJ Dan’s performance at Monarch’s Scarlet Room on March 4th. Get tickets here.
