YetepAnna Lunoe is a DJ, vocalist, songwriter, and producer from Down Under. In 2012 she moved to Los Angeles to build her career and has proven herself as a key player in the EDM world since. In just a few short years Anna Lunoe went from being unknown in the states to playing main stages across the country. Last year, alongside Alison Wonderland, Anna Lunoe became the first Solo Female DJ act to play the mainstage at EDC Las Vegas. Her first EP, Anna Lunoe and Friends, featured Flume and Touch Sensitive. It sat at the top of the Indie Dance charts for four months.
This was just the beginning. “Bass Drum Dealer (B.D.D.)”, one of her most popular songs to date, was picked up by Skrillex for his imprint, The Nest, and still remains the label’s biggest release to date. Her second EP All Out debuted at #4 on the iTunes dance charts. This led to further well-deserved recognition. Apple brought Anna Lunoe on to help launch their Apple Music streaming service.
Her work with Sleepy Tom and Chris Lake pushed her further into the public eye and solidified her come up so far. She now hosts her own weekly program entitled “Anna Lunoe Presents: HYPERHOUSE”, broadcasting live to over 100 countries every Friday. This has blossomed into an entire brand for Lunoe. She curated her own touring and music platform, HYPERHOUSE, that included a 15-city tour, bringing along Sleepy Tom, DJ Sliink, Rezz, Wuki and San Holo.
Although Anna Lunoe hosts her own radio show, collaboration is essential in this industry. Lunoe brought her Hyperhouse vibes to Diplo & Friends weekly broadcast. She starts off her mix by dropping Tropkillaz followed by some Chris Lorenzo. She bounces from genre to genre blending them effortlessly and mixing her own work in as well. Of course her smash hits like “Stomper” found their way into the hour long mix alongside some new tracks with TBD release dates. The rest of the mix features music from Baauer, Whats So Not, Flume and even Travis Scott. You’d be wise to keep Anna Lunoe in your sights, 2017 should be another big year for this super-star producer.
