Tchami Launches Confession Record Label With ANGELZ Relesase, New Minimix and Teases Upcoming EP

The Parisian Future House trailblazer, Tchami, has had quite the year, releasing his acclaimed singles “After Life” and “Missing You” earlier this year, headlining some of the worlds largest festivals to tremendous crowd reception, and even taking part in a terrible car accident that left his buddy DJ Snake and himself with injuries. However, despite the ups and the downs, Tchami is back in the saddle and has just announced that he will be taking his career to the next level by launching his very own record label appropriately titled, Confession.

With himself and Oliver Heldens being the leaders in the Future House movement, Tchami will be giving Heldens’ recently launched label, Heldeep, a run for its money. What Tchami is hoping to do with Confession is to eliminate the need to bounce back and forth between labels for his own music and to give artists that he feels deserve a shot that opportunity to have their music heard. As far as how this all came about, Tchami is quoted by Billboard Magazine stating that the process was “very organic,” and that the label would present “responsibilities that I am not afraid to take.”  With a sound as distinct and avant-garde as his own, this label comes just in time for the slew of music this Frenchman is set to blow our minds with.

To prepare for the launch of the new label Tchami has given us a number of things to look forward to. With his new six and a half minute mix he samples what is to come on his new imprint including the label’s first single which comes from ANGELZ entitled “Hey Girl”. Also included on the minimix is a track called “Notorious” by Malaa who is responsible for one of the amazing remixes in the “After Life” remix package. “Notorious” is set to drop shortly following “Hey Girl”. In addition to this minimix and the two new label singles, Tchami has announced that you can hear a brand new EP by the man in the robes himself as early as the first quarter of the new year.

And let’s just take a second to appreciate the aesthetic on this Confession release artwork:
