Lil Uzi Vert Tops the Charts with ‘Luv Is Rage 2’

Lil Uzi Vert is having the best year ever. From his “Bad and Boujee” verse to the hugely popular single “XO TOUR LIif3” that’s accumulated almost 400 million plays on Spotify alone, Uzi has edged his way into the center of the culture and our hearts. He’s dropped five mixtapes since 2014 and has slowly but surely been accumulating a die-hard fanbase. His debut album, Luv Is Rage 2, is a testament to the super stardom he’s achieved, as it’s currently sitting at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 charts.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums. Of Luv Is Rage 2’s total debut units, 28,000 are in traditional album sales. The album is powered primarily by SEA units: 100,000 — translating to 150.6 million on-demand audio streams of the tracks on the album. Luv Is Rage 2’s streaming sum of 100,000 SEA units is the largest for an album in nearly four months.
