YetepThe present generation of electronic producers sees talent sprouting up constantly from every kind of soil, and one of the most fruitful seems to be house music. It’s growing and evolving with tremendous success, and one of the fresh talents blossoming with the best of them is Croatian-raised Matroda. He’s making massive impressions with his bass house and garage influences, earning support from artists like Diplo, Dillon Francis, Deorro, and more. Matroda’s been doing well for himself ever since his first career remix of SNBRN‘s “California,” and his latest track “Bang” may be his best banger yet.
It’s no surprise that Matroda’s single slaps so hard. He combines all great things of house music: deep acid sounds, a muffled club beat, and shooting laser sound effects and creates something that’s simultaneously an immediate hit and also stands out as a new sound. In addition to a great foundation, Matroda takes this track to the next level by featuring Dances With White Girls, who’s added a g-house vibe to tracks like Chris Lake‘s “Operator” and Wax Motif‘s “Bunda,” among others.
Catch Matroda when he makes it bang and opens for Tchami at The Pressroom on June 29. Get your tickets here.
