Avicii X You is the world’s largest music collaboration project, created by Swedish DJ/producer, Tim Berg, better known as Avicii. The challenge provides an opportunity for fans, producers, DJs–potential collaborators—to download the music that Berg will provide in sessions to acquire all the different song components for his next single.
The submissions for effects will be open from February 6-10. According to Avicii, “When you have all of the main parts of the song done, effects kind of tie everything together and make it pop.”
In the last update, we learned that a contribution was chosen as the winning track for the bassline competition. Since then, a winner has been picked for the official beat/rhythm of the song. With 5, 729 plays, Martin Kupilas’ compliation will be featured in the main track. Check out Kupilas’ beat/rhythm along with other finalists’ beats here.
Check the Avicii X You website for progress on the song as each different piece is combined. Winners for the break will be announced shortly!
