YetepAll the way from Hasselt, Belgium is DJ/producer Jerro, a master of melodic house whose dreamy and poignant sonic narratives captured the attention of Anjunadeep and Lane 8’s This Never Happened imprint. Now a mainstay at This Never Happened, Jerro continues to weave raw emotions into every melody and chord progression on his records. Following his “Legacy” collaboration with Tailor in July, Jerro returned with a three-track EP, titled Duality. As stated by the artist, Duality was “inspired by nights spent dancing with friends in the clubs.”
Listen to Duality below:
Fans of Jerro know him for his emotive yet quietly radiant tracks that uplift and transport you to a neon paradise. Though the Belgian DJ and producer tends to skillfully tread the line between relaxed and club vibes, Duality walks the line closer to club vibes. Heavy, arpeggiated synths dominate the EP, deviating from Jerro’s usual warm, buoyant sound design. Between its tame beginnings and masterful build-ups, echoing vocal chops, and hefty synths, Duality transports you to a different landscape—to one of skyscrapers and starry skies, rather than lush canopies.
Come home to Jerro’s warm, magical soundscapes at this year’s Goldrush Festival, held at Phoenix Raceway from October 7th-9th. You can purchase your tickets here!
