Jackal Just Had the Best Year of His F**king Life!

His friends would know him by Mikey Pennington, but his fans know him as Jackal, and he has had an absolute monstrous year. With his recent rise to fame in 2013 after his release of “Shakedown”, which got picked up by trap duo LOUDPVCK and remixed becoming a trap anthem, and a long list of top tracks, remixes, and guest mixes since then, Jackal has certainly carved his own way through trap music.

Being a seasoned veteran, Jackal has played every major festival to date: Closing EDC Las Vegas’ 7up stage last year, Coachella, and even touring with Brillz’s Twonk Di Nation Tour, Jackal has had as he says, the “BEST YEAR OF MY FUCKING LIFE”.

2015 was massive year for the DJ hailing from England. With tracks such as “Carbomb,” which has some malevolently heavy bass; “Jamba,” which got dropped earlier this year with Boombox Cartel; and his recent solo release, “Animal Fries,” which dropped under the Mad Decent label and showcases a head bangin’ bass line, has gained him a lot of ground in 2015 with millions of views across all social media accounts.

Jackal is only getting started.

With the recently released Electric Forest lineup, Dr Fresch Prescription Mix, and the Animal Style Remix Pack, Jackal has already started 2016 off sprinting.
