YetepWell, it’s finally here … the debut song every GTA & What So Not fan has been raving about (no pun intended). GTA, known for their excruciatingly contagious trap style and wild live sets, joined Australian sensation What So Not along with rapper Tunji Ige to produce a hit track. Needless to say, expectations were running high for this group of geniuses. But like always, the finished product definitely exceeded them. “Feel It,” is the perfect mash-up of each artist’s’ musical ability.
The chill What So Not-like future bass is undoubtedly recognizable, while GTA turns up the tempo with some dubstep undertones. It is very obvious that every person in this collaboration has a wide appreciation of the artistry that is created when there are multiple influences involved. There is a beautiful balance between the strong female vocals and Tunji Ige’s rapping that ties the whole track together. All in all, this song is a few minutes of good vibes.
But if you think the magic is over when this song ends, fear not! GTA has announced that their debut album Good Times Ahead will be out October 7th, featuring Vince Staples, Tinashe, and many more!
