RB Weekend Preview: Get Hype! it’s Felix Cartal, Anna Lunoe & Nicole Moudaber

With a small window between major festivals it’s the perfect time to try something new. Downtown takes center stage this weekend as we’ve got an awesome lineup prepared for you! Kicking things off, Felix Cartal will be at Gypsy Bar Friday night. On Saturday Monarch theatre hosts a double show– Anna Lunoe downstairs, and Nicole Moudaber upstairs in the Scarlet Room.

11/11 – Felix Cartal @ Gypsy Bar

Felix Cartal is a Canadian Producer with a feel-good vibe that’s captivating. He released his first EP on Dim Mak Records in in 2009 has released two full-length albums since then. 2016 held many successes for Cartal. He did remixes for Kiiara and Selena Gomez, released a track with Kaskade titled “Fakin It”, and released a new single “Keep Up”. Gypsy Bar is quickly becoming a downtown destination for music and this is a show you won’t want to miss.

11/12 – Anna Lunoe: Hyper House Tour @ Monarch Theatre

Anna Lunoe is a DJ, singer, songwriter, and producer from Australia. She’s built a huge reputation since moving to the states in 2012. Her first EP featured Flume and her track “Real Talk” was #1 on the Beatport charts for months. Skrillex picked up her song “Bass Drum Dealer” in 2014 and her second EP, All Out, debuted at #4 on the iTunes Charts. She’s constantly making waves in the industry as she became the first female solo artist to ever take the main stage at EDC. AL is currently on her headlining tour, the Hyperhouse Tour; Hyperhouse is also the name of Anna’s weekly radio show that broadcasts on Beats 1.  Lunoe released a megamix in preparation for the tour, check it out and see her throw down Saturday night at Monarch theatre with support from Nina Las Vegas, Cray, and local fave Blossom!

11/12 – Nicole Moudaber @ Monarch Scarlet Room

Nicole Moudaber is a queen of techno. Her following is massive and dedicated. She’s been described as “the most underrated DJ” by greats like Carl Cox, and she’s been nominated as the best techno DJ 3 of the past 4 years. She launched MOOD Records in 2012. The next year her debut album, Believe, was #1 one the Beatport charts for a month. Most recently she put out an album of remixes, Breed The RMXS, with Skin. Nicole will be providing the deep, dark vibes this Saturday in Monarch’s Scarlet Room
