YetepVance Joy‘s “Lay It On Me” with it’s smooth, singable lyrics and enchanting guitar riffs has been one of my favorite songs as of late. I find it perfect for most situations, and the only thing that could make it better is a mellow electronic beat. Luckily, Melvv has swooped in and delivered.
Jeffery Melvin, or as his fans call him, Melvv, is a Wisconsin-based EDM producer who creates light, cheerful house tracks and duskier downtempo tunes. His remix pays true respect to the original, keeping the vocal sample intact and adding subtle synths. Check it out below.
