Stop Everything: TOOL Just Uploaded Their Entire Discography for Streaming

Formed in 1990, the group’s line-up includes Comprised of members Danny Carey, Adam Jones, Justin Chancellor, and Maynard James Keenan, TOOL is a rock band formed in the ’90s out of Los Angeles, Califnora. The band has been mostly silent since their last album, 10,000 Days, in 2006, so when they announce an upcoming album 13 years in the making fans we’re obviously ecstatic. The first announcement came from his appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience on August 1st, where you have to wade through Rogan’s fascination with flesh-eating bacteria, and Maynard’s vineyards to get to the meat of the conversation.

Just days later fans were met with more exciting news. In what may appear to be the roll-out of a decade, TOOL’s entire catalog has been released on various streaming platforms. One of the last, and we mean very last, bands to join the streaming movement, their tunes have already garnered millions of streams in the first few days.

Growing up, I always thought of TOOL’s music as trippy, and genre bending. I feel like this band is responsible for expanding the minds of many, and introducing us to new sounds that would eventually lead many to the electronic community.

Fear Inoculum is set to be released on August 30th, and the title track was released TODAY. Check it and the entire discography out as you wait for the return of arguably one of the most influential bands of our time.
