Rezz’ Haunting Debut Video for “Paranoid”

Isabelle Rezazadeh, better known as Rezz, is a rising star who’s been building her reputation for the last three years. She’s become known for her dark tech-house sound and has been compared to the likes of Gesaffelstein, an artist who Rezz said has inspired her tremendously. She’s captured the attention of some big names, including Deadmau5 and Skrillex. Just recently Rezz graced the lineups of Hard Summer, CRSSD Fest and Life Is Beautiful. “Paranoid” comes from her fourth and most recent EP Something Wrong Here, released on Mau5trap.

This is Rezz’ very first music video and she’s coming out strong with a dramatic production. If you’re still feeling the spooky vibes from Halloween you’ll love this video.

The video depicts a man going through a psychotic episode in the midst of a house party. In just under four minutes the video takes you on a full trip. The dark and strange video is a whirlwind of hallucinations. It’s the epitome of Rezz’ style and exactly the type of video we’d expect to see from her. The pounding track is suspense-building and may just make you a bit paranoid yourself. Rezz appears as the house DJ about half way through the video with her signature swirled lenses.

Rezz began a touring earlier this month and we’re expecting big things from her next year!
